OUTSIDIFY: Exploring New Sonic Realms with Bastl’s First App

Bastl Instruments is renowned for its unique synthesizers, modular systems, and music-making tools, all of which embrace a hands-on, customizable, and open-source ethos. Their products reflect a commitment to bridging the gap between traditional and electronic music, empowering artists to explore new sonic territories.

Recently, Bastl expanded on this idea with the release of their first app, OUTSIDIFY, just in time for their 10th birthday. This innovative app opens up a world of sonic possibilities right from the palm of your hand. Using the microphone and speaker of your smartphone, OUTSIDIFY enables you to create feedback, manipulate resonances, and even capture impulse responses to be used in any convolution device such as the KHS Convolver.
